Picture day 313 – A himba girl in Kaokoland

It is amazing how many happy children I met in Namibia. To be honest I met more happy children in a day in Namibia than I meet in a year in England. They didn’t have anything but were still smiling. What amazes me the most was that the smiles were so honest. They smiled and laughed if I gave them some water and food but if I didn’t have anything they smiled anyway. I completely fall in love with the children in Namibia especially the children that lived in the remote areas. I have come to the conclusion (kind of knew this already) that possessions do not make you a happier person and as long as you have food and are healthy that is the most important.
