Picture day 100 – Landscape shot in Peak District

© Petra Stridfeldt

After that perhaps a bit peculiar portrait I thought I should publish a more traditional landscape shot. I photographed this one last week when traveling from Sheffield to Macclesfield in England. This is called Peak District which is a lovely place for walks etc.

Lovely English rural shot, this gives a good idea of what the Peak District is like. In Romania now but we’ll be staying overnight in the High Peak next Tuesday, on our way to Cornwall.

Petra, a great shot. The cliffs reminded me of some of the scenery we just passed through on holidays in southern Alberta.

Thank you. It’s easy to photograph such a nice place, I nearly feel like I’m cheating 😉

I felt the same way when I was taking pictures. Nature is a great gift and not difficult to take pictures in it.

The only thing missing from that scene is Elizabeth Bennett riding in a carriage with her Aunt and Uncle. This one pulls at my heart strings a little. I love England so much.
