Nuclear power station photographed by Petra Stridfeldt

I photographed this nuclear power station yesterday and when doing that I was stopped and thorolough checked out by police men wearing guns.  They let me off but it took quite a while 😮

nice image. I hope the guns weren’t too big. Do you know Toby Smith’s photography? You’d like it.

Well given the times we live in and the location, I guess you weren’t too surprised.
It’s been a common issue in London, with a fair bit of inconsistency. I have taken shots in mainline train stations with no trouble, only to be challenged at a considerably smaller station.
None of my experiences (here’s one were as dramatic as yours.

No I wasn’t that surprised to be honest but still it’s not very nice though this kind of things triggers me even more to photograph this kind of places so it will probably not be the last time this will happen 🙂

I took a few photographs of a generating plant in Arizona that are really beautiful – but as I was leaving noticed a sign warning the public not to take any photographs since the land was owned by Fort Mohave Indians and they would prosecute to the fullest if anyone disobeyed and took pixs. What a pity! I like your blog – and your photos.
